Natasha was much more interested in the attractions than last time, and really, really wanted to be able to work the magic key herself.
She liked the little areas where the animals were most of all, but of course I don't seem to have any pictures of that!
She also really liked the puppet show that we were just in time for! I didn't think she'd be able to sit through the whole thing, but it's designed for kids not much older than her and she was enthralled. The only problem with the puppet show is that it ended and Natasha wanted it to come back on! We sat in the little theater space for quite awhile, climbing around the benches, until she accepted that it was over and we moved on to the merry go round next door.
She enjoyed running around, but got panicky when rambunctious kids tore by her.. and it being a holiday, there were PLENTY of kids running around.
All in all it's a fun, local place that I'm happy to support and we'll keep trying periodically. Plus, it's a great gauge for when for something like disneyland without the travel or expense until she's ready
Not that you can tell from this picture, but she loves the train ride! More than one kid melted down in line, and though she kept her cool (thanks to the raisins), she was pretty tired by the time it was our turn to ride.
If nothing else right now fairyland is a great excuse to put on a fairy skirt and go running around outside:
