We love Tiny, our giant pacu, but moving her is beyond awful. The last time we moved, it took us 40 minutes to scoop her out of her tank, and after we got her back in the tank in the new house she swam sideways for a week (which is NOT a good sign of fish health)
So, this time around we put moving her off for as long as we possibly could. With the sale of our old house just about to close, it was time to bring Tiny 5 blocks up the street to be among people again.
Tiny was obviously tired of being by herself, because this time it took approximately 4 seconds to scoop her up and went as smoothly as it could possibly have gone
Natasha, not knowing what we had planned for the day, insisted on wearing her mermaid skirt. She kept Tiny company until it was time to load her in the truck, and is thrilled to have her in the play room at the new house! Tiny is equally happy to be among people again.
