The first father's day since Natasha arrived meant a pile of presents for daddy! (she's not quite ready to whip up a breakfast in bed.. I bet she'd've been able to manage some coffee if we had a real kitchen though! ;) )
There was the requisite mug, some soap-on-a-rope, and tools. Instead of a tie though, daddy got some tshirts (much more useful! and in colors he doesn't have)
And then this is Natasha in her stroller for the first time! (Thanks Tammy and Andy!!) We went for a much longer walk since neither one of our backs were at stake in carrying her. Until she can hold her head a little steadier we can't use any of the ergonomic baby carriers, so she's still in the sling most of the time. But we thought we'd give our backs a break and give the stroller a go.
It's not like she weighs that much, but she still eats ALL the time, and is growing like crazy.. our bathroom scale puts her at 12 lbs!! I know that's totally not accurate, but even if it's a pound or 2 high, she's still getting up there!
And now we're waiting for the pizza to arrive, so we can pack on some pounds of our own.

She looks like a "regular" 2.5 month-old born on her due date, not a premie born 7 weeks early! (That comment only refers to SIZE --- she is much CUTER than a "regular" 2.5 month-old!
ReplyDeleteHappy daddy day!!!
ReplyDeleteDidn't think it was possible but she keeps getting more cute by the day!
