Natasha loves to dance, and we wanted her to be able to make some music herself, so enter the xylophone! It took her about 4 seconds to figure out what to do with it (and a full 30 after that before she put the mallet in her mouth!)
It wasn't until she'd been playing for awhile that I realized the box said it was for ages 3 and up! I guess because of the sticks? We won't leave her alone with them, but she's having such a great time playing I can't imaging waiting 2 more years for her to play with something like this..
