baby's first gallery opening

A group of our amazingly talented friends formed a group called Social Entropy, and put on an exhibition at Autobody Fine Art here in Alameda.. these are the same folks who did the Fashion Show we went to in August. On opening night, there was belly dancing, opera, an aerialist, a fasion show, and gorgeous goodies to buy.. so, naturally, Natasha had to get into her little black dress (which finally fits! thanks Lesli!!) and put on a fresh coat of mascara.

It was a cold night, so we also had to get into the hat and matching legwarmers (which will be easier to get a picture of when Natasha can stand up!) that her fairy godmother got her. (Apparently, it's pretty difficult to find a flamey hat in baby sizes, but it finally fits too!)

One of the artists showing was at the opening taking pictures of the guests. David Houston's photography was pretty enough, but with Natasha and her fairy godmother Shannon in front of the camera it was dreamtacular!

There was a box of fabric and props to pick from, and Natasha pretty much wanted to eat all of them ;)

She thoroughly investigated everything, and the rest of us did all we could to keep it all out of her mouth.

As you can see Natasha loves her fairy godmother :)

And mom got some pictures too

As if she doesn't look enough like an angel every day..

Natasha had a great time, and had a great kickoff to a lifetime of art appreciation.
