Alert and interested

Natasha made a lot of friends at the doctor's office today

First off, she didn't pee on their table, so everyone was happy about that..

The nurse got a kick out of how she was going to town on the paper on the table (of course, that didn't stop him from sticking her with a needle later, so maybe she didn't make as many friends as I thought ;) )

It was hard to measure her height again, because she wouldn't stay still and turned the paper into a crumpled mess. The measuring tape said 25.5" again which puts Natasha in the 50th percentile for full term 6 month babies!

She's 15lb 9oz, which is in the 45th percentile for full term 6 month babies.

While the doctor was explaining where Natasha is on the development charts, Natasha listened intently. But she started making her "tough guy" face (seen at left), and the doc could not keep a straight face!

All the developmental milestones are spot on for 6 months, so her doc is officially taking her off the preemie track! Natasha doesn't have to go back for 3 months for the 9 month well-baby checkup. Which means we'll have to wait longer to find out how big she is, but we're done with monthly doctor's appointments.
